They don’t make razor blades at Marlin Firearms, a historic American gun maker with roots back to the 1870′s. But they do want to spend their advertising dollar where their target might best respond to it. Where better than a disposable razor blade, handled by modern man on a daily basis earlier in this century. While this sort of cross-promotion doesn’t happen anymore, the message remains emblazoned in blued steel!
